Tami Beckel
Genealogist
Bio
I started researching and building family trees for families, including my own, in 2010. I am an animal lover and advocate, especially for dogs. I am also a paranormal investigator and the Founder and Director of the Key West Paranormal Society. I started investigating and researching the background and history of haunted buildings as early as 2002. My research abilities are quite extensive and span over two decades. I am also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida, and I prefer to concentrate mostly on haunted homes or homes that have been stigmatized.

Education
Employment
I am now retired from the engineering industry, where I have spent most of my adult career. I currently have a licensed real estate brokerage, Florida Real Estate Places, and I like to create home decor on the side. My Etsy store is called Siesta Key Custom Designs. I still run several non-profit paranormal teams, Key West Paranormal Society, Sarasota Paranormal Society, and Ohio State Paranormal Society. I love assisting people with their paranormal activity, and I love researching family histories which is why I became a Genealogist.
I studied three years of Business Administration and two years of Drafting and Design for Civil Engineering in State College. I then completed several genealogical courses and became certified through the "International Institute of Genealogical Studies", which is a trade school for Professional Genealogists.
